Environmental Protection Rules

This race takes place in a precious natural environment, including areas designated as a national park. To avoid any negative impact on the irreplaceable forest ecosystem, please follow the rules below:

  1. Do not leave the marked course. Certain areas may be designated as no-overtaking or with other restrictions for environmental protection.
  2. Do not collect, damage, or disturb plants, animals, fungi, rocks, or any natural objects anywhere on the course.
  3. Short-cutting the course is strictly prohibited as it damages vegetation.
  4. Do not litter under any circumstances.
  5. Toilets are available at aid stations. If absolutely necessary, please use a portable toilet and carry back any used paper.

Consideration for Other Users and Participants

  1. When encountering hikers on the course, always give them priority.
  2. When overtaking, call out clearly, and pass only at a safe location—walking rather than running. When meeting others head-on, yield the trail to hikers and ensure safety at all times.
  3. If you encounter an injured or ill runner unable to move, you must prioritize assisting them.
  4. Please show gratitude to volunteers, staff, and local residents who support this race.
  5. Remember, the course is not exclusively for the race; it is also open to the public. Respect their access at all times.
  6. On public roads, run in a single file and never step into traffic lanes. Follow the instructions of race staff when crossing roads.

There are no restrictions on the type or size of bag. Please consolidate your belongings into one bag where possible, mark it for identification, and leave it no later than 15 minutes before the start.
Please note that the organisers accept no responsibility whatsoever for lost or damaged items.

Bib Attachment Method

  1. Common for 50km・30km・18km
Attach the bib marked “前” (with the timing tag) horizontally to the front of your body (chest/abdomen). Attach the bib marked “後” horizontally to the rear (back/backpack). Incorrect attachment may prevent timing recording.
  2. 2km
Attach the single bib horizontally to the front of your body (chest/abdomen).
  3. ※ To conserve resources, safety pins are not included. Please use commercially available bib clips, bib belts, or safety pins you have at home.

Course Markings

  1. With the permission of landowners and managers, we will install marking tape, signage, and deploy staff. Course tape (pink) will be placed at approximately 100-metre intervals. Multiple tapes will be placed at junctions and unclear sections, and directional signs and marshals will indicate the course. Please ride attentively, keeping an eye on your surroundings to avoid losing sight of the markers.
  2. If you cannot find the course tape for more than 5 minutes, you may have taken a wrong turn. Promptly retrace your steps to rejoin the course.
  3. Guidance signs will be installed immediately before the event and promptly removed afterwards.

Timing and Measurement

  1. Timing will be conducted using the IC tag attached to your bib. Please ensure it is worn correctly and do not remove it until the event concludes.
  2. There is no need to return the IC tag or bib after the event concludes.
  3. Completion certificates can be downloaded after finishing by tapping your name on the ‘Web Completion Certificate’ page of the event website.
There will be no printing or distribution of certificates at the venue.

Rescue and Medical Support

  1. While the course is prepared and a rescue/medical system is in place, safety cannot be fully guaranteed. Runners participate at their own risk, fully aware of the potential dangers of trail running.
  2. First aid stations with qualified medical staff are located at all Aid Stations, connected to Race HQ via radio and phone.
※Depending on conditions, medical or rescue assistance may take time to arrive.
※Any runner treated by medical staff must see a doctor after the race and report the diagnosis to the Race Office.
  3. Medical support runners (wearing red bibs) patrol the course and prioritize assistance to injured runners.
  4. If necessary, fire departments, police, or other agencies may be requested for rescue. Costs incurred will be charged to the rescued runner.
  5. Medical staff have the authority to stop a runner from continuing the race if deemed unsafe.
  6. Normally, the Race HQ decides on emergency calls (110/119). However, if communication is impossible, runners may directly call emergency services.

  1. Runners may withdraw only at Aid Stations. Notify staff, and hand in the front bib with the timing tag.
Keep your second bib, as it is required to claim your finisher’s package.
  2. After withdrawal, a shuttle will transport you back to the finish area.
  3. Withdrawals at Water Stations or on the course are not allowed, except in emergencies. If able, proceed to the next Aid Station.
